It started with a dream.

We dreamed of a place where we could make memories with our family. Now we dream of helping you make memories with yours.

As native Idahoans, both of our families have deep roots to the state - north to south and east to west. The first time I drove past this pond I fell in love with it… little did I know that this pond would be the home of a future cabin that we would build. Years later, we started looking for a piece of property to build a cabin on with the goal of fostering family, friendship, and fellowship. The day after looking at this piece of land we called a realtor and put in an offer.

It would become ours in a short time.

We spent the first few years camping on the property as our dreams took shape. We welcomed our first son and two years later traded in Sully, our first camper, because our family had grown to include another healthy little boy. We continued to camp and welcomed family and friends to join us. In the spring of 2023, we spent our first night in the cabin of our dreams. Since then we have continued to welcome family and friends to join us and relish in the beauty surrounding the Missed Place. Because we believe in the power of rejuvenation and the importance of family, we decided to open our doors to others in the hopes of fostering others to make memories of their own to last a lifetime.
